Maruuo Suisan Co., Ltd., is a wholesale company that operates in the Himeji City Central Wholesale Market with the approval of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. Since the establishment in July 1957, we have worked hard to this date under the philosophy of contributing to the food culture and dietary lives of people in the region.

One of the management philosophies that Omi merchants had was sanpo-yoshi, which means “benefit for all three parties.” It is a philosophy of doing business that satisfies all parties so that not only sellers but also buyers can benefit from it, and they can also contribute to society. We do business based on this philosophy of sanpo-yoshi and strive to do the best business for all the concerned parties such as producers, intermediate wholesalers, and consumers.

Recently, the environment surrounding the Japanese fishing industry has been continuously changing. Recognizing that such a situation has been caused by a complex combination of the various elements of the global environment, consumer needs, regional economies, and international situation, we would like to do what only we can do step by step to improve the Japanese fishing industry. Not only will we strive to fulfill our public mission for the Himeji City Central Wholesale Market and the local community, but all the executives and employees will also work as one to make efforts to achieve the new goal of spreading Japanese marine products around the world. We appreciate your continued guidance and encouragement.
